TOGETHER, WE STRENGTHEN WOMEN'S VOICES
The Palestinian Woman Development Society (PWDS) is a grassroots feminist and development organisation established in 2023. It works to strengthen the capacities, participation and autonomy of Palestinian women, with particular attention to women facing multiple forms of social and economic marginalisation and vulnerability.
The Society is grounded in the belief that women are not merely recipients of services, but active partners, holders of knowledge and experience, and individuals capable of producing, making decisions and influencing their communities. It creates safe and participatory spaces where women can express their experiences, exchange knowledge, and collectively produce and analyse knowledge in order to develop tools and solutions rooted in their realities.
Our Mission
The Palestinian Woman Development Society is a grassroots feminist development organisation that seeks to empower women in Palestinian society by providing a safe and supportive environment that safeguards their rights and strengthens their active participation in community development.
It also works to enhance their resilience and promote justice and equality through integrated programmes that respond to their needs, including economic, social and psychological empowerment, as well as strengthening their capacities and resilience, so that they can defend their rights and the rights of others, with particular attention to marginalised groups of women.

Through psychosocial support, feminist education, economic empowerment, cooperatives, community-based work and mutual support networks, we strengthen women’s capacities, participation and autonomy.
