Economic Strengthening, Cooperativism and Sustainability
The programme strengthens women’s economic position by expanding their productive capacities, increasing their participation in resource management, and promoting active roles in economic decision-making. It is built on the belief that women are not simply recipients of services, but holders of knowledge, experience, and the ability to create collective economic alternatives that benefit both their families and their communities.
Through theoretical and practical training, participants develop skills in economic rights, feminist economics, cooperative work, democratic management, financial planning, marketing, and the responsible use of technology. The programme also supports the creation and growth of women-led cooperatives, encourages sustainable local production, and promotes agriculture and environmentally responsible practices that contribute to food security, economic resilience, and long-term community development.
